Dr. Perez Lechuga is a member of the International Advisory Board of International Journal of Energy Optimization & Engineering (Web of Science ESCI).

Dr. Perez Lechuga has been a teacher and lecturer in some foreign countries, lecturing on topics of his specialty, highlighting in particular the use of operations research and applied mathematics in real-world problems with industrial applications.Founder and general director of SEIIO, an international consulting firm in Industrial Engineering and Operations Research. Author, co-author and editor of 6 books and book chapters related to his specialtyand author of more than 70 scientific articles in journals specialized in applied mathematics, operations research and industrial and manufacturing engineering.Currently, he is the general director of research at the Autonomous University of the Hidalgo State, Mexico.
His research interests include, modeling, simulation, optimization and applications of flexible manufacturing systems, logistics models,financial engineering, transportation systems, reliability engineering andstochastic optimization by conventional methods and swarm intelligence algorithms.
